I can tell you’re as excited as I am. So, I’ll keep this short story short. A few people have asked me why I decided to change the name of my fledgling dessert company. To be honest, I don’t even remember what it was that struck me that I needed to change it. Perhaps it was a slow evolution of hearing too many times that people (even people close to me) didn’t remember the name. Perhaps it was the annoyance I experienced every time I had to slowly say it to someone, to be sure they got all three words right.
I certainly didn’t have a new name that I thought was better. In fact, I hired MadMeg Creative to help me figure it out. And now it’s Bare Bakery and I love it, and I couldn’t be happier with it. I imagine my label on coffee shop and grocery store shelves and I am proud of what this brand is and will grow to be. “Bare” of gluten, grains, refined sugar, and anything artificial. A brand that is not only gourmet, but has a name that is easy to remember and fun to say. Excited for this new chapter. Everything before was just practice.
